What is Space Info
The Space Info requires all the information for a single space within a single or multiple floors.
The Space Info display differs for Property Marketing users and Independent Project users.
Space Info for Property Marketing Projects (Single or multi-floor)
You will usually reach this display when you open a space you created. This is to ensure that you have chosen the correct space according to the information previously submitted, whether it is a single or multiple-floor space.
Here, you will mark with the Toolbar Features which part of the space you wish to design a new project floor plan.
Please click here to learn how to create a new space and fill in the Space Info requirements.
Space Info for Single-Floor Independent Projects
After submitting the property information, you will reach the Space Info step. In this step, you will provide all the relevant details for the specific floor to be planned, including uploading the floor plan’s CAD file.
Instructions for Completing Space Info:
Enter Floor Details:
Floor Number: Enter the specific floor number of your project. This is a mandatory field.
Floor File: Upload the floor’s CAD file, which will be used for the planning process.
Area Calculation Method: Select whether the calculated area measurement type is gross or net.
Planning Area: Enter the area measurement figure that needs to be planned.
2. Mark the Planning Area:
Once the floor file is uploaded, a preview will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
Use the Toolbar Features to:
Place the main entrance – This is essential
Select the planning area.
Indicate outdoor spaces.
Mark existing utilities (e.g., pantry, WC, stairs, IT room).
Highlight elements you want to retain.
Once you have completed entering the floor details and marking the area, click the Next button to move to the Program step. Here, you can configure your Concept program’s floor plan profile or your Detailed program’s floor plan profile according to the program type you initially picked.
Space Info for Multi-Floor Independent Projects (only Detailed program)
If you are planning an independent multi-floor project, you will need to use a Detailed Program. After submitting the Property info, you’ll be directed to the Space info, where the first step will be selecting the “Multi-Floor (Beta)” option. Next, you’ll need to enter all your floor numbers, select a reception floor, and choose how you have calculated the area (gross or net).
Click on “Next”, and a new step will appear for each of your floors. Going one by one, you’ll need to upload a floor plan file and enter an area for each floor to be planned.
After uploading each floor plan, a preview will appear on the right side. In this preview, you’ll need to use the Toolbar Features to select a planning area, indicate outdoor spaces, mark any existing utilities (pantry, WC, stairs, IT room), place the main entrance, and select the elements you need to keep.
Repeat these steps for each floor, until you’ve entered your entire space.
Note: Multi-floor planning is practical when planning several floors in one property for a single customer. However, consider using the single-floor plan if you are planning two floors for two different clients. You can then duplicate the project and make the necessary customizations for each client individually.
