Rendering Suite

Enhance your projects with qbiq's immersive Rendering Suite, which includes virtual tours and rendered images.

Updated over 3 months ago

What is the Rendering Suite?

The Rendering Suite is a feature that allows qbiq users to create stunning visuals using a fully furnished floor plan. Its main benefit is the ability to quickly define visualization requirements, making it easy to bring your project to life in just a few minutes.

Key Benefits:

  • Enhanced Engagement: Let others explore your space as if they were physically present.

  • High-Quality Visuals: Showcase your project with realistic, rendered images.

  • Quick Setup: Easily define your visualization needs and create stunning visuals in minutes.

With the Rendering Suite, you can showcase your space engagingly and realistically, allowing others to virtually explore the floor as if they were walking through it.

The Rendering Suite includes:

  • Virtual Tour: An immersive 3D tour of your project, enabling users to navigate and experience the space realistically.

  • Rendered Images: Four high-quality images showcasing key areas and features of the project.

Note:

The Rendering Suite is included by default in all of qbiq’s program types, unless the client chooses to unselect it.

How To Use The Rendering Suite Program?

The Rendering Suite is ideal in two scenarios:

  • When you have a fully furnished floor plan that requires no modifications.

  • If your furnished plan includes rooms labeled with specific tags, such as "office" or "meeting room," qbiq will automatically integrate appropriate furniture based on these tags. The room will remain unfurnished if there are no tags or the tags do not match the furniture in qbiq’s database.

To access the Rendering Suite, select a new project in your qbiqPlan. Follow the steps below based on your user type:

  1. Property Info: You will need to specify the property details and tap the Next Button only if you are an Independent Project user.

  2. Space Info: This stage differs slightly between Independent Project Users and Property Marketing Users:

Visualization:

Customize your project’s visuals, from simple 2D floor plans to fully rendered 3D tours. You can choose to include visualizations, pick interior themes, set exterior views, and add your client’s logo for a unique touch. Follow these steps to create a tailored, impactful final product for your client.

Setup: This is the first tab in which you set the basic configurations of your visualizations.

Project Info:

Virtual Tour Checkbox:

The checkbox allows you to cancel the option of receiving the Rendering Suite. Uncheck this box if you want to receive only the 2D floor plan. Tap the Next button to proceed to Summary, the last step of the qbiq wizard.

3D After Design Toggle:

Switch the toggle to delay the creation of the Rendering Suite until you receive the 2D-floor alternative plans from qbiq. This will allow you to choose your preferred 2D floor plan for showcasing in the visualizations. If you don't select this option, qbiq's system will automatically choose the best 2D floor plan for the virtual tour based on its assessment.

Note:

  • Unchecking the Virtual Tour box means qbiq will not create visualizations (video tours or rendered photos) for this project. This cannot be changed in future revisions. If you are unsure whether you’ll need visualizations, we recommend using the “3D After Design” toggle.

  • When using the Rendering Suite program, the Project Info isn’t applicable. You cannot untick the virtual tour or use the 3D After Design toggle.

Client Logo:

Uploading your client's logo is optional. However, it can significantly elevate the design of your Report cover, Virtual Tour, and Rendered Images. It serves as a visual reinforcement, underscoring that this project is uniquely tailored for your designated client.

Property Specs:

In Property Projects, the Gross Ceiling Height and Facade Style are directly copied from your floor plan’s preset. These fields cannot be modified.

For Independent Projects, you’ll need to enter the Gross Ceiling Height (concrete to concrete) in the units you defined when starting the project and select the Facade Style that best matches the windows in your space.

Design: This is the second tab in your Visualizations step.

  • Designing from Scratch: Select the materials, colors, and design elements to display in the 3D Tour video and rendered photos. Use this option if you haven’t pre-designed any themes. The process is the same whether designing from scratch or defining a theme. Click here to learn how to choose the designs.

  • Themes: Choose from your saved pre-designed themes, modify an existing theme, or create a new one. Once the desired theme is selected, click Next to proceed to the Summary stage.

Exterior View:

Upload your property’s outdoor surrounding images and place them on the floor plan.

In Property Projects, the Exterior Views are directly copied from the preset of your floor plan. You can modify these fields only through your floor setup.

For Independent Projects, you can enhance your rendering suite by adding outdoor view photos, giving it a more realistic feel.

Configuring the Exterior View:

  1. Drag and pin Side A bar on one of the exterior walls of the property in the 2D-floor plan.

  2. Upload a photo of the property’s floor outer view. Alternatively, you can choose one of the four outdoor view options qbiq provides.

  3. If you want the visualizations to focus on a specific side, check the “Preferred View” box when placing the side pin.

  4. Repeat your actions for Sides B, C, and D to complete the Exterior View setup.

Note:

  • If you do not specify all sides with windows, qbiq will automatically use one of its stock images.

Report Preview

This section will display a preview of your report cover.

Once you have completed designing the visualization of your floor plan, tap Next to proceed to the final step: Summary Step.

Alternatively, you can tap Save Draft to keep the project in My Projects and finalize it later.

Notes:

  • The rendering suite will only focus on the reception floor when creating a multi-floor plan. Practically, the other floor(s) will not be featured in your visualizations.

  • In Property Projects, the exterior view is part of the floor setup and is not included in the project wizard. Hence, you won’t be able to change it when submitting a project.
