Once you start and name a new Project, you’ll be directed to the program category screen, where you will choose your program type.
The ideal program for your project will depend on whether you have a pre-designed floor plan, a specific list of requirements, or just a general idea of the desired distribution. In the next steps, you will enter the specific requirements for your project.
There are 3 different program types, so you can select the one that best suits your needs:
Concept - This option will let qbiq’s AI system generate the entire program, and only requires minimal input for the floor plan distribution.
Use this program when you only have a general idea of the tenant’s requirements. This option offers a balanced approach to customization since it combines primary information inputs and the ability to configure key elements of your program.
Detailed - When you have specific programmatic requirements - Detailed empowers you to choose amenities, configure the dimensions, and even place them within the layout.
Opt for the Detailed program when you have a well-defined set of needs.
Currently, the Detailed program is the only planning option that supports multi-floor projects.
Rendering Suite - While the other options produce 2D floor plans and 3D visualizations, this option will only provide a Virtual Tour and a set of rendered images. Choose this option when you already have a fully furnished floor plan that doesn’t require any modifications to it. qbiq will use your floor plan to create 3D visualizations.
After selecting the Program Type, tap Next to open qbiq's Project wizard, where you will begin creating your layouts and visualizations.
Notes:
The Rendering Suite flow has fewer steps, as you will not design the floor plan.
In qbiq wizard’s Visualization step, you can choose a predefined theme or you can define the materials you want in your visualizations.
Multi-floor projects can only be submitted through a Detailed program.
