What does the calculated area mean?

The calculated area is a floor's measurement in square units.

Updated over a week ago

The calculated area predominantly refers to the 2D floor plan's space. This measurement corresponds to square units and is determined by multiplying the length and width of the space.

There are two methods to calculate a floor plan's area:

  1. Total Area - This calculation includes shared spaces and common areas such as the building lifts and staircase. If you use this calculation format, you will use either the RSF (Rentable Square Feet) units or the GROSS square meters units–To include the usable areas as well as the floor and building's common areas.

  2. Available Area - This calculates only the space that a tenant can use. If you choose this calculation format, you will use either USF (Usable Square Feet) or NET square meters units to determine the actual usable areas.
