Departments allow you to create customized divisions within your floor plan to meet your client's specific needs. This feature is particularly useful for designing spaces that require distinct areas for various functions.

You can only add departments in the Detailed Program. To find the Departments feature, navigate to the Program Summary on the left-hand side of your screen.
How to use the Departments feature:
Click the "Add Department" button to start creating a new department.
Enter a name for the department. For example, "Operations," "HR," or "Sales." This helps in clearly identifying the function and location of the department within the floor plan.
Select each department in the dropdown menu and assign the necessary rooms.
Continue adding and naming new departments as required to cover all divisions needed for your space.
