Skybox image requirement:

  • Minimum image resolution: 2,000 px in height (captured with an iPhone 11 or newer, or any device with a minimum 12-megapixel camera).

Suggestions for the best results:

Following these recommendations can help improve the quality and accuracy of your exterior views.

  • Make sure the camera lens is clean.

  • Try to keep the camera level.

  • Use the highest resolution setting on your camera.

  • Take the photo straight on and frame the view you want to see (landscape or portrait orientation)

  • Provide only one image per window side. (North, East, South, and West)

  • Make sure the image shows only the exterior view and does not include reflections, balconies, interiors, or window frames.

The image should only feature the exterior view, aligned with the horizon line, without window mullions or other building elements

The image features the window mullions and reflections of the lightning fixtures.

The camera angle is downward, not at the horizon level.

For Custom Views, panoramic images are also an option, as they provide a more seamless and continuous representation of the exterior. To ensure the best possible outcome, the requirements mentioned above should apply to the panoramic as well.

Additionally, if drone imagery is available, it can also be utilized by qbiq to create Custom Views.

Note that Custom View placement takes into consideration the floor level provided. This information affects what is visible through the windows, as the images are adjusted to match the floor level for a more realistic view.
