Redline Guidelines

A Redline allows users to ask for minor changes to a ready project.

Updated over a week ago

The Redline feature in qbiq is useful for submitting minor changes or requests to a ready project. These are changes that do not require a whole new layout planning or redesigning the Rendering Suite.

A Redline is a feature that allows qbiq users to request minor changes to a completed project.

Changes that are considered as Redlines:

  • Adding seatings to a facility.

  • Rearranging workstations and desks.

  • Swapping rooms for an equivalent-sized facility, eg.:

    • Switching between two offices and a conference room.

    • Transforming an office into an open space with workstations.

Changes that require designing a new floor plan are not considered Redline requests (will require a new submission):

  • Adding facilities that needed to be submitted in the original Project.

  • Adding ten or more workstations and desks.

  • Asking for an entire floor plan after an initial partial floor request.

  • Asking to modify only a Partial floor setting after an initial total layout planning request.

  • Asking for the Rendering Suite to demonstrate a different planning alternative.

  • Changing the desk sizes or type.

  • Any changes that would require replanning the floor plan.

  • Adding room types that were not included in the original program.
