Learn about properties and follow this guide to create a property in qbiqPlan—laying the foundation for your floor plan projects

What are Properties?

Properties are a key feature in qbiqPlan designed exclusively for Property Marketing Users. They help you organize and manage all your projects through the My Properties section, providing a strong foundation for both current and future work.

With properties, you can define spaces and floors within each property, efficiently grouping related projects. This structure keeps everything organized in one place, making navigation simple and enhancing your workflow.

From the Properties section in your qbiqPlan, you can:

  • Create a New Property to start fresh.

  • Navigate Existing Properties to access and manage ongoing projects.

Each Property consists of Four key elements:

  1. The Property’s Information: Essential details include the property name, address, image, and more.

  2. Floors: Floor plans and details for your property. Add as many floors as needed.

  3. Spaces: Flexible divisions within the property, including individual floors, sections of floors, or combinations of multiple floors.

    For example, you might define spaces as "4—Entire Floor", "4—Suite A", "4—West," or "4 & 5."

  4. Projects: The actual test-fit projects created within a specific Space. In your qbiqPlan you can navigate between the various projects, check their status, and create new projects.

How to create a new Property?

Creating and managing properties begins with submitting the basic information for the specific property, which serves as the ground roots of your projects. The details will feature on the report cover and in the rendering suite.
